pH shows the water hardness in a wood-fired hot tub: initial pH influences the disinfection efficacy. The recommended pH value is to be from 7.0 to 7.4
Swim and Fun test-stripes are used to perform the measurement of pH and chlorine levels in water fast: you should just take some water from wood-fired hot tub into a small container, (for example, a plastic glass) and put a stripe there for some seconds. Then check the result obtained on the attached color scale.
